The biodiversity in Tornos village

In the mountainous area of Tornos , in the region Evrytania of Greece, there are forests and rivers guard the treasures of fairy tales. There, the elves hide, the fairies are sleep…

Our eyes and our souls are finding their way to the secret passage. These colors, scents and forest music  are the materials of fairy tales. If these materials are lost, fairy tales will also be lost.

The nymphs of the forest and the rivers, that our ancestors met, are still inhabited here.

Every winter a different ice sculpture is formed in the crystal palace of the gorge.

Magic little creatures smile at us, bringing to life the fairy tales of our childhood. But, bad dragon is waiting . . . Wind farms have been licensed at the top of the mountain and the nightmare is coming to our lives as the disaster is just around the corner.
